I am a long time resident of Texas, a grandmother, gardener, lifelong dog owner and...a passionate watercolor artist!

For me, art is communication. I have been immersing myself into the fluid, everchanging medium of watercolors for eight years now, and every time I pick up a brush it’s a new challenge and adventure. When I began taking lessons locally, I had no idea where it would lead me! The only thing I love more than seeing a painting slowly take shape, the colors blending with soft edges and crisp bold lines, is the joy of seeing it’s new owner’s face when they receive it. 

Although I am expanding into other subjects, dog portraits continue to bring me joy to paint. To own, or to gift, a portrait of a dog (or cat) helps them live on forever. I’d love to have a chance to get to know and to paint your pet, or the beloved pet of a friend or family member!

In the fall of 2023 I opened my Etsy shop, which has given me a wonderful opportunity to paint many more subjects. Wildflowers, birds, animals and more are now available in many print forms as well as some originals. Please click on the Shop page and visit me!
